I Will Greet the Sun Again (2023)
Khashayar J Khabushani
"A work of meticulous care and genuine candor . . . Khabushani is a poetic visionary, as generous as he is brave."
Thirst for Salt (2023)
Madelaine Lucas
"This novel is a beautiful, melancholy tide. I felt inexorably pulled to it, and by it. Lucas is a brilliant conjurer of emotional and bodily longing. I felt, while avidly turning the pages, that briny tightness of the skin, as though I'd sat in the hot sun after an ocean swim. Thirst for Salt is a sensuous, visceral debut."
Fake Accounts (2021)
Lauren Oyler
"Somehow Lauren Oyler hacked my brain preferences and wrote the novel I’ve been waiting years to read. To spend time in the pages of this stealthily radical book is to submit to Oyler’s dopamine experiment of 'social media realism'a genre I believe she has pioneeredand to cycle endlessly from obsession to logic to paranoia to grandiosity to salvation to idolatry to distrust. This novel is, above all, a gripping blast to read, and so, so effortlessly smart."
