Laney Bozeman enjoys working at the loneliest, most remote junk shop in New Mexico. He reads old paperbacks and daydreams during his two week shifts, and at night he stargazes and dabbles in the kitchen in the tiny attendant's bungalow. He sleeps in his truck while he explores during his time off, though lately hes been carrying on with the beautiful clerk from Big Donut in Roswell, so a more settled life might be on the horizon.
The old carnie Ralston Orley is supposed to be gone by the time Laney arrives, but this time hes still in the bungalow, half naked and blackout drunk. And he dragged something huge into the living room, something so big it will change their lives forever.
Genre: Science Fiction
