Travis Wilder represents everything I despise. From the generational wealth he was born into to the behemoth publishing company he runs, I’ve avoided men like him for nearly fifty years. But as he continues to pursue me, I begin to realize that maybe there’s more to him than meets the eye.

It doesn’t help that he’s gorgeous in a California sunshine sort of way, with sea glass green eyes and a smile that releases the sexiest dimple in only one cheek. And when he looks at me like I’m the port he’s been searching for after a particularly chaotic storm, Im damn near ready to throw caution to the wind and dive right in.

Travis
Paige Matthews had me completely enthralled the moment she stood on that awards ceremony stage and gave the entire publishing industry the bird. She’s vibrant and wild, authentic in a city where so many others are fake, and I’m a man obsessed. Unfortunately, she’ll barely give me the time of day.
But if my calculations are correct—
they always are—odds are good she’ll come around. It’s a numbers game; one of these times I ask, she’s going to say yes.
And once she does, I’m going to make sure she never stops
screaming it.

Author Note: This is a spin-off novel, featuring two side characters from the Intern's Submission Duet: Travis Wilder and Paige Matthews. This is a standalone novel that takes place after the other two books, so if you have not read the duet but intend to, reading this before you read those is not recommended.

Genre: Romantic Suspense
