Into the Eternal Dark is a prequel novella preceding the events of Into the Wonder Dark. However, it is not a standalone and should be read after book one.
Before the Crimson Queen chained him to the Underland, before he met a little girl holding a dead rabbit, and before he became irrevocably tied to a women he could never have, Terek had given his heart to another.
A woman with piercing green eyes and a constellation of freckles across her skin, who had seen through his anguish and cowardice and reached out her hand. A woman who had given him a reason to stand back up when he’d been so determined to fall, and to dare to hope.
Hope for a better life than he’d had when he’d actually been alive. Hope that she could heal the festering hole inside of him, and that maybe, just maybe, the Underland might not be the prison of eternal misery he’d first feared it to be.
**This is a prequel story of Terek's past and was first published in The Bookish Box's 2024 Anthology, Vol. 2. It is a short, 14K word novella and is intended to be bonus content for his character. It is not centered around the duology's main couple.**
Genre: Urban Fantasy
