This book is a novella, first in the Seoul Stories Series. After experiencing the worst two years of her life, Landry Amos wants a change of scenery. So, once she gets the all-clear from her doctor, she decides that she needs to hone her cooking skills. Having had to give up on an earlier opportunity because of treatment, she books a French cooking course in Montmartre, a small village-like area in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, and braces herself for the new adventure before her. Shim Seo-Joon is the Chief of Staff of a hospice hospital in Seoul, working non-stop until the board of directors forced him to take time off. Though reluctant to abandon his post, even for two weeks, Seo-Joon decides to book a cooking course in Paris, to take a break from his mother’s constant matchmaking. As Landry and Seo-Joon meet and grow closer in Paris, they’ll both have to face reality and decide what is most important to them. After all, how can they make their relationship work once they’re outside the Montmartre bubble? Will they pursue a long-distance relationship? Or will fear cripple their blossoming romance?
