Lily Trapp (first introduced in Myra Johnson's historical romance Every Tear a Memory) is a spunky newspaper writer married to Adam Longmont, accountant for his father's grocery business. When they set out from Arkansas to help Adam's widowed aunt save her failing South Texas ranch, Lily wonders what she's gotten herself into.
