Ghoulish Whisper

My name is Harriet Everly. I’m one-quarter ghoul and the goddess of love. Sort of. Yeah, it’s a crazy story.

As a paranormal investigator, I get my best work done when the sun goes down. My current client is Julia Hickrom. Her fiancé vanished without a trace. The police think he just got cold feet. But I have a hunch something of the paranormal persuasion took him or ate him. Either way, I’m hot on the trail and won’t stop until I find answers.  

On top of that, my immortal boss has tasked me with bringing two people together. Romantically. It’s the twenty-first century. The goddess of love is no longer needed. But when the boss speaks, I have no choice except to listen. It doesn’t matter that it’s me he expects to find this love connection. Or that the man he thinks I’m meant to be with has been dead two hundred years.

Time to dig up a dead body. Okay, I’m kidding. We never found Dashel’s body. But maybe it is time to figure out what happened to him.
