Tennessee Darling is in trouble. When she is arrested for a murder she didn’t commit, Tennessee doesn’t know who to turn to until she is allowed to escape…and she does. Leaving everything behind, she makes her getaway, heading for the only person she knows who will make everything better. Only when she gets there, everything is not as simple as she remembered.

James Walker is new to Simple. Well, technically, he’s been living there for several years now, but since he wasn’t born in Simple, he is still considered an outsider. To make things worse, no one knows what he does for a living. He isn’t opposed to telling them, but he kind of likes listening to all the conspiracy theories the townsfolk come up with. When a local woman catches his eye, James may have to rethink everything because when his best friend and local sheriff sets his sights on her too, well, James refuses to simply walkway.

As one of Momma Love’s boys, Sheriff Nate Forrest is the law in Simple and the number one most hated man on the town’s hit list. He’s not worried as long as he doesn’t arrest Marvin. Life is simple in Simple, Tennessee, and Nate preferers it that way. He has a job that allows him to do whatever he wants and time to solve what his best friend does for a living. Life is perfect until a woman from his past returns home and sets her eyes on his best friend.

Welcome to Simple, Tennessee, where nothing is as simple as it seems. From the backwoods to the north, the mountains surrounding them, or the town’s folk themselves who think they know everything. Simple, Tennessee is a place where anything can happen and generally does.

Sit back, grab yourself a sweat-tea, and get comfortable, folks, because the people of Simple are going to show you how things are simply done. Y’all kin say whut y’all want about the South, but y’all never heard o’ nobody retirin’ an’ movin’ North”.

Welcome to the South Folks!
