One of the many things a widow has no control over is who will visit her late husband’s grave.

On a blustery October day, Pam stood at the six foot high marble headstone her mother-in-law Bernice had insisted upon when Jack died. Visiting the grave was always done in secret. She could squeeze a trip to the cemetery in between a workout and getting her hair done. That morning, Pam felt it in her bones; she needed to go to the cemetery. Excitement brewed. Perhaps something life changing would take place. She longed to tell her assistant, Hocus, about the feeling, to have her palm read, but then fear set in. What if the sensation portends a betrayal, or worse?

Pam is fighting memories of past demons. In this dark tale of loss, she will find redemption at the end.
