Frankly, I'm tired of waiting for an unknown Mr. Right to show up for one measly date. So, I’m taking matters into my own hands and conjuring myself a date with a succubus-for-hire. Just one quick, harmless contract with a demon escort is all I need. And all he has to do is stand next to me, match my costume, and make me feel pretty and desired. The powers-that-be won’t notice such a minor dabbling in forbidden magic on Halloween, of all nights. And if they do? My demon date will have slithered on back to hell before anyone notices what I’ve done. No muss, no fuss.

But I do like the demon Bragg, so I’ll tag along with whatever he’s got planned. However, one simple portal jump to a little witch's attic has me rethinking everything I know. All it takes is one look at Portia to open me up to a multitude of possibilities. The three of us are meant to be together. And I don’t need a psychic to tell me that.
