The Dogwood Inn is a fixture in tiny, tourist-magnet Dogwood Falls, NC, offering overnight accommodation to out-of-town guests and down-home cooking to anyone calling for reservations.
Nona Barrett’s six granddaughters carry on the family tradition of finding room at the inn . . . and they have room in their hearts for their true loves too.
IVY:
I’m not used to sharing my kitchen at the Dogwood Inn Restaurant with anyone.
But if we’re going to take the restaurant to the next culinary level, we need a chef.
The one we hire on a trial basis—a big-city guy with all the people skills of Gordon Ramsay—is an excellent chef.
Trouble is, he’s also hotter than a habañero.
Seems that we’re hot for each other.
I don’t think I can handle him. The sooner he gives up, the better.
GRIFFIN:
I’m sick of the back-stabbing that goes on in the culinary world. I just want to work in a place that I can put my own stamp on.
When I get a job offer from a small-town restaurant in a touristy area of the North Carolina mountains, I figure I’ll give it a shot.
The worst that can happen is that I hate it and leave, right?
Trouble is, I love the place.
And the woman who’s been running the kitchen is pretty much my dream girl.
But she can’t stand me.
Can I change her mind?
Short, sweet, enemies-to-lovers, alpha-male/curvy-girl instalove romance. Part of a series, but can be read as a standalone. No cheating, no cliffhanger, guaranteed HEA.
Genre: Romance
