Rescued by the Mountain Man
(2023)(The fifth book in the Men of Big Horn Ridge series)
A novel by Carly Keene
Welcome to Big Horn Ridge in Montana, home of burly, buff, bearded mountain men who are soon to meet their strong, curvy matches!
Naomi:
As a FFG (Former Fat Girl), I suffered a lot.
I never thought of myself as attractive, or worthy.
After my mom died, I focused on my health, changed my mindset, and lost half my body weight.
Now I love outdoor activities like canoeing and hiking. It’s one of the reasons I moved to Montana.
Well, that and the eye candy. Beards and biceps? Yes, please.
Thing is, I know that none of them would be attracted to me if they knew how many scars I have — inside and out.
Miller:
After a training accident left me with some physical problems, I left the Army to become a software developer.
My old Army buddy Caleb told me about this town in Montana, and even helped me find a place up on Big Horn Ridge with good internet, so I can work remotely.
Being out in nature helps a lot.
I’m out on the Big Horn Ridge trail when I run across a hiker who fell off a rock escarpment and can’t find her way back up the steep slope.
That, I can help with.
But falling for her big blue eyes and positive attitude the minute I lay eyes on her?
I can’t help that at all.
Buff, burly mountain man, check. Curvy girl, check. Instalove, check. HEA, double check! No cheating, no cliffhangers.
Genre: Romance
