Working in Colombia for Monica and Ramon Angel, Sorrel found herself more involved then she would have wished in the marital problems of her employers, whose marriage, it seemed, was threatened because of Monica's infatuation with the devasting attractive Juan Renalda. Somehow Sorrel found herself being persuaded to visit Juan and ask him to intervene in the situation-with the result that before she knoew where she was she found herself married to him - and in love with him.
