Came a Cavalier

The story is set in the war time in France. It begins as WWI ends and continues through WWII. It is the story of a Red Cross worker, who meets and falls in love with a handsome French calvalry officer . Their happiness is complete until WWII calls the officer back to war. Constance lives in her husband's ancestral chateau throughout the German occupation.
