Wedded to the Water Dragon

Look, I was just trying to get out of the palace when I said I would marry one of the notorious Tullekk Brothers. He's super handsome, don't get me wrong, but I don't know him at all, and his reputation is pretty dark. Still, when I saw a chance to get away from my first husband, I jumped. That's always been my downfall; I'm a jumper. I jumped at the chance to leave my home planet to get married to a rich alien. That didn't work out so well. Now I've jumped again, and I'm not sure this is going to work out much better.

There are pros, of course. I'm living in a magnificent castle on the edge of a waterfall. It's gorgeous all the time. And my husband is a snack, I don't mind saying it. But I'm also living on a rural little planet far from everyone I know, and my cute-butted husband is super mysterious and close-mouthed, which is hard for me since, as you probably guessed, I'm a talker.

Oh also, I almost forgot. Someone here seems to be out to get me. So far, I've been pushed off the roof of the castle, my bed's been lit on fire, and I'm pretty sure someone tried to drop a statue on my head. Long story short, I had no idea what I'd gotten into when I agreed to marry this guy.
