Pete and Alice in Maine (2023)
Caitlin Shetterly
"This is the novel I've been waiting to read. Caitlin Shetterly's brilliant take on what happens when the worst happens to a couple days before the pandemic locks them together is simply fabulous. Funny and fierce, compassionate and uncompromising - I could continue pairing complimentary adjectives forever - best just to buy it and clear a weekend. You won't want to put it down."

Truth and Other Lies (2022)
Maggie Smith
"Expert storytelling, and a sharp exploration of the complex relationships between women-mothers and daughters, mentors and proteges, best friends and frenemies-are at the heart of Maggie Smith's compelling and savvy page-turner. Good thing books are calorie-free, I gobbled it down in a single afternoon."
