Heads Dance

Evelyn, the heroine in this story, is a young woman drifting along the disturbing occurrences of her life. In Africa, she and other Dutch women took part in a ritual by drinking a potion that intends to regulate menstruation in a most unexpected way. Her brother in law, a doctor, is determined to get the recipe with her assistance. Leonie Kooiker is an adventurous woman in her eighties. She was born in the east of the Netherlands, where she wandered in the hills and the heather fields. She now lives in the West of the country by the riverside. Her books, mostly for children, are mad, scary, thrilling, and at times, rather sweet. Her stories create magic and in them, anything is possible.
