Mike Kearby, a retired high school English and coach, who has amassed five patents in irrigation technology, began writing in 2005. The Texas history devotee has garnered praise for his Free Anderson / Parks Scott trilogy.Mike has become much in demand as a guest speaker to Texas History and English classes. He speaks to kids about the importance of reading for life and the rich history of their state. Teachers write that Mike "puts it in the kid's lingo", "reinforces classroom instruction", and sends teens "buzzing into the library."Mike lives on his ranch in Stephens County where he raises exotic antelope.
