Season of Sacrifice

When two children from the village of the Headland of Slaughter are kidnapped during spring celebration, Alana Woodsinger must use her powerful connection to the village's Great Tree to guide villagers on a rescue. But they soon discover they are up against more than a mere act of cruelty and must sacrifice everything to save the children--who in a bizarre twist of fate do not want to be saved.
