The Line Between (2019)
(Line Between , book 1)
Tosca Lee
"The Line Between is a nail-biter featuring an unlikely heroine, brain-washed since childhood by a doomsday cult. The rigid, patriarchal sect leader is a charismatic faux prophet with heavy clay feet; he can save humanity--for a price--but is hell-bent on rescuing the few and damning the many. As a lethal virus spreads through the United States, the darkness of an increasingly apocalyptic world turns even darker. Lee's book is one horrific thriller fans will want to read. The conflicting urges rampant in the story resonate with our world today, making this both a great read as well as a cautionary tale."
