WAKE OF THE WYRM
Once the island kingdom of Wallmyre had been the shining light of the eastern realms, a maritime giant respected by all. Now, however, it has become a land little heard of or seen by others, for its harbors and vessels have been long stalked by a huge, destructive sea dragon, a great wyrm. With only minimal supplies reaching the island and their own resources failing due to a variety of mysterious reasons, factions led by King Markham, his son Prince Raynier, and the general Darrien Elben have risen up against one another in the makings of a terrible civil war.
Barely surviving the journey to Wallmyre, Evan Wytherling --- accompanied by Mardi Sinclair --- has his worst belief verified that a creature of guile and sorcery, the Fenri, not only controls the wyrm, but has long been instigating the downfall of one of those nations responsible for the defeat of the sorcerer, Novaris, long ago. Evan must not only seek to bring the factions together, despite all branding him an enemy, but he must battle the Fenris influence on himself. Then, there is also the wyrm, whose destructive force cannot be avoided even far from the sea.
And as if all that were not enough, Steppenwald, too, has his hand in the matter, and his promised aid to Evan and Mardi may instead lead them into a greater horror
