Rufus King (1893 - 1966) was an American author best known for his Whodunit crime novels. As a major mystery and crime novelist he created four detective series. King also has several novels where dogs are the main focus. North Star follows the story of a dog and his owner, who searches for him when his dog goes missing in the Canadian Northwest.t
