In 1840, all the Indian Nations wanted was the white man to vacate their sacred lands. After the Council House Massacre, where thirteen Comanche Chiefs were slaughtered at the hands of the whites, Penateka Comanche Chief Buffalo Hump led an historic Great Raid of five hundred warriors across the state to seek restitution. The angry hostiles burned and looted from the mountains of the Texas Hill Country to the shores of the Gulf of Mexico at the Texas port of Linnville. The state's second-largest port was ransacked and burnt to the ground. The Army and Texas Rangers retaliate at Plum Creek and a running battle ensues. The constant fighting appears to have no end.Tonkawa scouts, Tuc and Potak, join the fray under famed Captain John Coffee Hayes, of the Texas Rangers and help save many lives while enacting their own style of vengeance.
