What happens when enemies are promised to each other for marriage?
Hassan Green is strong willed and focused on making sure his soul food restaurant is not just the best one Crimson Trails has to offer, but a tourist attraction that brings people in from all over the world. There's just one restaurant giving him competition, and it belongs to Crimson Williams.
Crimson Williams comes from the bloodline of one of the founders of Crimson Trails. Her and her sisters' arranged marriages were the talk of the town before the sisters were even old enough to speak. As important of a tradition as her betrothal is, Crimson absolutely refuses to go along with it when she finds out that she's been promised to Hassan Green.
Professionally and personally, Hassan and Crimson want nothing to do with each other. They both have the power to run the other out of business. When the founders of the city find out that they are refusing to marry each other, the entire foundation of Crimson Trails is shaken. Will the two enemies be able to come to an agreement and open themselves up to unexpected love? Or will they allow their pride, stubbornness and competitive spirits to not only end their engagement but arranged marriages for Crimson Trails altogether?
