System Keeper
(2025)(The first book in the System Keeper series)
A novel by Ned Castor and Cassius Lange
When in doubt, start with a fireball—when really pissed, start a world war.
Red opened his eyes to the worst check-list he'd ever seen.
- Wake up in an unfamiliar magical clearing, naked, and with grass stuck up your crack? First check.
- A man and his lightning wolf are giving out free hugs, so your only option is to shove a fireball down his throat and set the pet on fire? Double check.
- Get berated by an all-powerful Keeper System for killing the guide who was supposed to integrate you to a new world made for asshole Exiles just like yourself? Yeah...big check.
Red always figured his temperament was going to get him into a lot of trouble. Turned out he was right. The one thing he didn't expect was that it would happen only seconds after getting kidnapped to another world, where he killed the one person he shouldn't have: his world integration guide. Now he is stuck on 1337, a world made for Exiles just like him: all-powerful and world-destroying sociopaths too dangerous to exist on their own worlds.
Unfortunately, the System Collective gave Red a second chance and bound him with a stalk-eyed floating orb called Death Keeper. The orb's only wish? To get him killed in the most brutal ways possible, become free from the System Keepers, and go on a world conquest. A match made in heaven.
Now, armed with the unique Spellmonger class and a grudge big enough to burn down the world, elemental destruction is the name, looting dungeons and leveling up the world is the game. Oh, and killing all the other bad Exiled. Just in case.
They took everything from him. Now it’s his turn.
System Keeper is perfect for fans of: mid-crunchy LitRPG's, worldbuilding, fantasy action adventures, monster hunting, dungeon and world exploration, some base building, and unique MC classes.
NOTE: System Keeper is a re-release of my previous Fireball to the Face, that launched a few months ago to everything that could have gone wrong, and then some. If you have bought the book before, I will be happy to send you a copy of System Keeper.
