Me, Mo, Mu, Ma, and Mod

This novel is set in today's Ghetto of Venice, where the narrator meets two women, one a Parisian, devout and sensual; the other, an enigmatic beauty, who is mute but can hear. For the inevitable wedding -- we’re not really sure who the bride is -- the rabbi is the 17th century chief rabbi of Venice. For in this true fiction, characters cross time lines.
