The Governor's Ladies

The year is 1775 and the entire town of Boston, Massachusetts, is seething with unrest as the War of Independence is about to erupt. With loyalties and love stretched to their lim- its, the lives of Thomas Gage, the British Governor of Massachusetts, his American wife, Margaret, and his young black slave girl, Sara, become inexorably combined. Conflict, heartbreak and death threaten to darken the futures of all involved, but with true love lighting their path, can the Governor and his lady find their way to happiness?
