One little girl, two broken hearts, and the woman that could save them both.

Delilah had dreamt of owning her own confectionery ever since her grandmother taught her to bake, specifically her prized divinity that she delighted in making every holiday. But women owning a store was not something that happened, so she spent her days thinking of ways to make it come to be. She would design the store she would never have in her mind,
until one day when she saw the ad for mail order brides and she found the "what if?" she had been looking for to make it happen.

Clarence had lost his wife to illness but, more importantly, Lizzie, his young daughter, had lost her mother. He had been caring for Lizzie himself, but soon he would have to travel on business and could not bear to leave his broken-hearted little girl with his house staff.
Then one afternoon his housekeeper handed him a paper about mail order brides and he quickly put out his own ad, never dreaming he would find the perfect woman for his situation. But, dreams do come true sometimes, and Delilah answered.

Could she be the one to bring life back to their world, or would she break them even more?
