Millie Marsh does not want to make her bedridden mother sad, even when she’s not interested in a date her mother has set up for her.

To avoid the blind date, Millie tells her mother that she’s actually dating cowboy Wyatt Shaw, her co-worker from the ranch she’s working at.

Millie knows the fake date with Wyatt will end in nothing since she is focused on her dream of one day opening a bakery in Misty Peak, her hometown.

As for Wyatt, he is a charming, young cowboy with four younger brothers and envisions himself running his own ranch in future. When his youngest brother tells him he wants to go to college, he wishes to support him financially as much as he could. And dating is the last thing on his mind.

Little do Millie and Wyatt know that Millie’s mother would tell everyone in Misty Peak that the two of them are dating.

Finding themselves in a situation where they have to continue faking their relationship for Millie’s ailing mother, the two prove to be a real mismatch.

Yet, they find themselves unwittingly moving toward a fake marriage. Or so they thought.

A Christian Contemporary Western Romance; no cheating, no cliffhangers and a guaranteed happily ever after.
