Elua, which means "two" in Hawaiian, is the second book in a new romantic mystery series that features the adventures of Holly St. James, private detective. In this second book on the series, Holly St. James and Logan West meet Annie Bean, a tough old woman who claims to have witnessed a murder. There is a body all right, but Annie seems to know more than she admits. Holly and Logan also encounter a very rich and very young widow who keeps a deadly secret, as well as a lonely drifter with a scarred hand who may not be as threatening as he appears.
