A Friend in the Dark (2024)
Samantha M Bailey
"Samantha M. Bailey's A Friend in the Dark simmers with palpable desire and twists that'll have readers gasping. Just when you think you know the direction of her story, you get knocked sideways with twist after jaw-dropping twist. This is a must-read for any thriller lover!"

The Devil and Mrs. Davenport (2024)
Paulette Kennedy
"Paulette Kennedy is the modern Daphne du Maurier with her dazzling ability to usher readers into any point in history while making it feel vibrant and fresh with her magical, gothic touch. Her newest novel deftly captures both the simplicity and horrors of being a midcentury housewife in a patriarchal society. With gorgeous lyricism and a determined heroine, the story spellbinds from the first page until the harrowing end."

The Hunt (2023)
Kelly J Ford
"Ford's The Hunt cements her as not only one of the best Southern fiction writers around but also one of the best contemporary writers period. There's a macabre playfulness to The Hunt as each unpredictable twist builds to an ending no one will see coming. But despite the dark humor, this is ultimately a story about how guilt can consume and destroy, especially in small towns, where empathy can be in short supply and gossip is a sport. Ford knows how to put her characters' humanity front and center even as they repeatedly stumble down dangerous paths. These are damaged people you want to see win."
