‘If you like mystery, if you like suspense, if you like non stop action, then this is the book. A GREAT read!’

‘Twists and turns galore, and the little twist on the last page made me smile and shake my head!’

‘Expect many late nights.’

‘A serious page turner from the start.’

-----------------------------Take Tom Keeler, a recently decommissioned officer in an elite special operations unit of the United States Air Force, now a man on an open ended vacation in Europe. Your function was kill or be killed, seek and destroy, and now youre among civilians.

And you’ve arrived in this small French town, where your mother spent her summers. But, things don’t immediately compute for your heightened powers of perception. For example, three men try and knife you right off the bat. Which wasn’t very smart of them, but whatever, you start getting interested in the why of it.

And things start adding up. Like the beautiful police officer Cecile Nazari, and the fact that your elderly cousin was stabbed in the head with a sharpened screwdriver. And the local cops are behaving weirdly, like they’ve got something to hide.

So, yeah, maybe you start to get interested in what’s going on. Do a little digging and discover that the situation in Alencourt, France is even worse than you thought.

When a guy like Tom Keeler gets interested, the life expectancy of the perpetrators begins to shrink. But, here in Alencourt the rot is deep, and the hidden enemies are vicious and ruthless and very, very smart.
