The Shadow of the Killer

(1975)
A novel by

Some eccentric millionaires like to have beautiful girls dance naked on the lawn while sprayed by a hose - but few fill the hose pump with whitewash. And few play jokes upon their lady friends while in their baths. Jonathan Blake visited a house where the defunct owner had done these things and much worse. So he was not surprised to find that the servants were mainly lunatics given to accusing each other of having murdered the master. But did the old man really fall in the swimming pool while drunk? Or was he pushed? Or poisoned?
