The Tycoon's Maverick Bride

(2021)
A novel by

Lenora is so very tired of the same thing day after day. “When you’re a bride Lenora”, Wouldn’t he make a wonderful husband Lenora?”, “He is very successful Lenora, you could do worse.”

What she hasn’t told her family is that she wants to do SOMETHING with her life. Be her own person,
build an empire, not just be a wife and mother. But how to explain to her mother and aunt???
And then Lenora has an “Ah Ha” moment. She would be a “Mail Order Bride”.

Milton owned multiple businesses, was pragmatic. He’d stated clearly that he wanted a wife who had been raised in a sophisticated family in Texas. One who knew how to manage a home and host social events. No flowery dreams of matrimony.

Lenora was sure that a man like him wouldn’t be affected when he discovered her true intentions. He could get another bride in a relatively short time, she was sure.

Milton didn’t know what to think. He had expected a woman who was eager to become his wife. Instead, he’d met a proud woman who’d made it clear that she wanted nothing to do with him.

Lenora was sure she didn’t need Milton. Milton was sure that he didn’t care.

But are these two stubborn independent people correct? Or could they have been wrong?
