Stone Animals
(2015)(A book in the Electric Literature's Recommended Reading series)
A Novella by Kelly Link
2005 Theodore Sturgeon Memorial Award (nominee)
“Stone Animals” is thick with meaning—psychoanalytically inclined readers can have a field day—yet resistant to simple interpretation. The story transforms as you look at it, in the same way that Link’s fiction expertly moves between genres and resists simple forms. - Lincoln Michel, Online Editor, Electric Literaure
