Logical, cautious attorney Barrett Brockbank has two priorities—settling the clients’ cases from the firm’s recent court win and deciding what to do with the rest of his life. But when he chases a thief down a dark alley in New Orleans’ French Quarter, he comes face-to-face with a stunning singer named Agata, who enchants and then rejects him. But each interaction with the puzzling woman draws Barrett closer to her, and deeper into her mysterious and contradictory world.
