The Proving of Matt Stowe

Ranch hands Matt Stowe and his younger brother Jed are dissatisfied with their tedious, poorly-paid work on the Snake spread. Then the ramrod offers them the chance of earning a little extra cash by travelling to Dodge City and gathering information on the movements of Ned Shanklin, a psychopathic criminal suspected of involvement in cattle rustling. Accepting the job, the Stowe brothers set out for Dodge. But they're riding headlong into far more trouble than they'd bargained for...
