Rose Marie Boyd misses her best friend. Claire is on a long due honeymoon, leaving Rose to watch after the groom's brother, Jordan. She's happy to follow Jordan. She would be happier if Jordan didn't resent her trailing after him, just in case he has an episode.
Jordan knows that Rose is the only one, other than his brother, that seems to understand the rambling predictions he makes. It isn't like he is trying to get rid of her. It's just that he would like her to be following him for a different reason.
When Marie Delarocco, the newest and kookiest resident at Omega, wakes him in the middle of the night to tell him Rose needs him, he doesn't hesitate. Maybe, if she needs him for a while instead of it being the other way around, it will help ease his feeling guilty for pushing her away.
