Did you love the smash-hit October Fall EMP disaster fiction series by Mark Loren?

Well, guess what? He’s done it again! It’s October 28th again, at the same location, with the same cast of characters, but a different disaster…

In September, at a highly restricted yet improperly maintained government-run Institute of Virology in the city of Wuhan, China, a single viral bacterium, much smaller than a human cell, escaped scientists and multiplied more rapidly than the Black Plague, or the Spanish Flu of 1918. Its effect on the local population was so utterly devastating and contagious that it forced a desperate decision by their government.

Knowing they could not control its spread or even what percentage of their population it would kill, they kept it secret from the rest of the world. Instead of an emergency lockdown, they put the contaminated residents of Wuhan, who were well conditioned to follow orders and not ask questions, onto planes bound to every corner of North and South America, Europe, and most other industrialized nations of the world on mandatory one-way paid vacations. As their country weakened, so too would their adversaries.

They set into motion something that neither their country nor any other could stop or cure, that would radically change the entire world with a massive cataclysmic human event.

God help us all—though it would appear that over the next five hundred days, He ignored us.
