Overcome by a mid-life crisis, Dan Haywood rushes off in a frog-like sports car with a younger woman. After 24 years of marriage, Sarah is left to pick up the pieces and re-style her life, juggling hurt children, "helpful" friends, and her career as a dress designer. But obstacles - mostly in the form of other middle-aged men - seem to conspire against her.
