Darcy Garrett is a local NYC artist known for her charming landscapes but now that she has been accused of murdering her ex-lover, her work has turned to dark and brooding stormscapes featuring a tiny figure struggling to survive. Sure, he left her for another woman and broke her heart. Sure, he took her beloved art shop from her. Sure, he was shot dead with the gun Darcy knew was kept in the shop. But she didn't kill him - and finding a suspect with a better motive won't be easy.
