The War of the Third Coalition continues to rage across Europe. Following the Battle of Austerlitz, Olmutz, Prerau, and Buda, the Austrian Empire has surrendered and accepted Franco-Turkish peace terms. The Habsburgs are out of the equation, and half of their territory is now occupied by either France or Turkey.

However, Prussia and Russia, encouraged by continued British gold and support, remains defiant. Their armies have retreated to Berlin, while the Tsar is sending more troops from Mother Russia. Napoleon’s “Grande Armée” follows to give battle, and the Swedes join the Third Coalition by landing troops in Swedish Pomerania to attack Hamburg.

Meanwhile, simple soldiers like Grenadier Jean Dumont of the 108 Regiment of the Line, Frantz Berger of the defeated Austrian Army, or Armand de Bofors of the 2nd Imperial Regiment continue to struggle to survive amidst the war and the chaos. They fight the battles their masters and officers tell them. New heroes will also soon get their stories told as war spreads all across the European map.

Napoleon plots and strategizes, the Russians invade Ottoman Wallachia, and Selim III is about to attempt to clean his own house with the destruction of the Janissary corps as he prepares to receive the enemy attack with the Sultan’s forces.

A new titanic battle looms in eastern Prussia as the leftover armies of the Third Coalition will soon try to assemble near a town called Eylau while the French “Grande Armée” moves toward them. At the same time, Denmark appears to be about to be invaded by both France and Great Britain in a contest for who will control its war fleet anchored in Copenhagen.

This is the story of the Napoleonic Wars.
