Okay, I might have a reputation as a playboy, but I swear thats not my fault.
When the ratio of women to men in your small tourist town is ten to one, your only option for female company is the temporary kind. And if given the choice between sleeping alone or sleeping around, well, can you blame me for choosing the latter?
If you think about it, Im a victim of circumstance. A product of my environment. And that suits me just fine. Or it did, until Cora knocked me over, literally.
She's the good girl to my bad boy. The type A to my slacker, working on her thesis while I do everything in my power to delay taking over the family business. We should be totally incompatible. Yet somehow, I feel more at ease with her than people Ive known my whole life.
For the first time ineverI don't want to be just a fling. Too bad a guy like me is only good for one thing. A distraction.
Author's Note: This small-town, opposites attract romance is a slow-burn love story with adult themes and humor that will have you lusting after the guy whos more than just a pretty face, and falling in love with his quirky hometown. HEA guaranteed. Distraction is written as book one in the Elevation series, although it can be read as a standalone.
Genre: Romance
