Thanks to our manager believing we need protection, he’s hired the man who’s name fits him well.
With years of experience on his belt, I’m sure Brick can find someone better to use his skills on. Someone overqualified for the job shouldn’t take it so seriously.
We’re young, full of dreams of gaining popularity through our music.
I should be focused on perfecting my tune, but I’m too busy looking over my shoulder. Back at the man paid to protect me.
Brick might not say much, but the way he clings close between every show speaks volumes. He’s either super passionate about his job, or he wants something a bodyguard shouldn’t.
I’m aching to give him just that as we get closer to the end of our tour.
Not wanting to lose him, I’m ready to see how Brick acts when he’s off the clock.
