A captain for the Company's major opposition, The New People, Daniel desparately needs her help to find the scientist responsible for the 'zombie virus.' Sources have informed him that the technology will be used to form a new army for yet another political upheaval.
Fearing for her life as well as her friends' lives, Maverick refuses, but Daniel is insistent and kidnaps her. Together, they begin an adventure which takes them through the dangerous depths of the ocean and to the bizarre and mutated French countryside.
