A woodcutter, despite all odds, makes a life for himself and a young boy. Takes place in the early days of Dakota Territory where the riverboats required wood for their boilers, and the woodcutter and his young friend supply the wood, earning enough to build a foundation for future happiness. The woodcutter finds that money cannot buy the kinds of happiness and his wife want. Another western from the pen of R. O. Lane.
