Remy Lai is a writer-illustrator. She was born in Indonesia, grew up in Singapore and currently lives in Australia. When she’s not writing and drawing stories for kids, she can be found exploring the woods behind her home with her two dogs. Her debut middle-grade novel, PIE IN THE SKY (Henry Holt, May 2019), is about two brothers who migrate to Australia and discover that English sounds like Martian.
