Music, murder and a demon with a manicure! It's a truth universally acknowledged that when one part of your life is going great, the rest of it goes royally tits up. All girl rock band Samedi Noir are finally starting to be taken seriously. Unfortunately, the rest of their lives are far from perfect. Bassist, Dahlia Wilks, is a magnet for bad boys - and not the kind you'd want to date. When a masked vigilante saves her from being raped by murdering her attacker, she is left with an inconvenient dead body. Guitarist and singer, Fred Jones, is a band obsessed workaholic with a deep mistrust of pretty much everyone. When Aidan Walker arrives on the scene and showers her with his charm and cleverly concealed, pointed questions, she fears his motives and her own feelings. And in Surrey, Satanists are about to sacrifice a pair of Demon Prevention Officers to a demon with a magnificent manicure.
