Stephen Legault is a writer, photographer and full time conservation activist who lives in Canmore, Alberta.
He is the author of eight books, including most recently the #1 bestselling The Vanishing Track and the historically themed mystery The End of the Line. His most recent book is Running Toward Stillness; which explores the intersection of Buddhism and running.
Stephen started writing in 1988. Kicked out of his high school biology class, he bought a notebook and sat down in the woods near his Burlington Ontario home and wrote some really awful, angst ridden poetry.
Since then, Stephen has written for the Globe and Mail, Canadian Geographic, Outdoor Canada, Canadian Wildlife, and dozens of other periodicals and newspapers.
Stephen's next mystery will be The Glacier Gallows: A Cole Black water Mystery to be published by Touch Wood Editions in the spring of 2014.
