5.0 out of 5 stars10-4 Goodbuddy, we got us another keeper
By lovestodive

Stuart Land once again steps outside the box to bring us a rip-roaring good read with laughter, tears, big guns, and bad guys galore. I've decided we just need to have a good old fashioned game of mad-libs with Mr. Land, throw some words at him, and watch him work his magic. I'm certain the result will be another of his masterpieces; I don't know what genre it will be in, but it should be fun. This book was just plain good fun from beginning to end; I started grinning with the first paragraph and didn't stop even after I was finished. There were times when I'm sure those around me thought I was crazy because I would just belly laugh right out loud.

Some of the moments were tense, driving along all the secondary back roads of the USA, the bad guys suggesting they will hurt his family, his son. But in the next minute I was laughing out loud at the repartee with the three in the truck. Mr. Land, you also write comedy too!!! One of the funniest lines was Sheryl meeting Petey Boy and saying... well, you'll have to read it for yourself.

Again like Claiming Lives, the story is crisp, well written, and had enough danger and excitement for a thriller. But I have to admit the laugh out loud lines were memorable and fun. Mr. Land falls into no particular genre category for his writing, and some might miss his incredible talent that way. He writes Vampires, Mystery, Truths, Horror, and Comedy... Isn't there something you are NOT perfect at? I haven't found it yet. I await your next addition for my reading pleasure Mr. Land.

5.0 out of 5 stars This one is for readers who are after a truly good time.
By Ia Uaro

There is never a dull moment in this well plotted, well written, action-packed comedy thriller. Stuart skillfully builds the tension, choreographs detailed action scenes, and never fails to draw your grins. Braving gunfire, exploding chopper, sandwiched SUV--the list is endless--Jones and companions race with their dangerous cargo across America, as the lives of Jones' loved ones are put to stake. Along the way, in Jones you can't help observing the author himself: his fantastic imagination, his endless energy, his resourcefulness, his wry take and fun outlook on life despite the sadness or the madness of a situation.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sufficient to say I lost myself in the story and several times surprised myself by laughing aloud. I can't help thinking it would make a cracking movie. With those characters and that story line I can almost visualise it on screen. Crossing the Double Yellow. It's a good read, and well edited.
